There was a push to get WebFear on the mainframe and when everyone wined about 
the issues with Java sucking the life out of and the CPU off of the traditional 
workloads something had to be done.....

I think it implies that creating multiple specialty engines was a mistake, and 
that one "program" specialty engine will suffice. I don't see zAAPs becoming 
obsolete in the foreseeable future.
