Thanks Hal. Interesting, but I almost can't believe that the hypervisor is taking 800,000 samples per minute all the time. Isn't that a drain on the whole system's performance?
Also, I see that the doc you noticed is under changes for a z/OS manual, so maybe that's a z/OS software reporting tool sampling rate and not the actual hypervisor rate?
