Your z/OS systems runs as a guest under z/VM. There is a profile exec that runs when you XAUTOLOG your system. You can't update the profile exec yourself (you don't have WRITE access to your system's 191 disk). But, if you ask they will make a minor change to this script (uncomment one line) and from that day forward it will prompt whether you would like to come up with JES2 or JES3 each time you bring up your system. You send the appropriate answer using the CP SEND command.
