In reviewing our health checks the VSAM index trap was set to inactive. I found the VSAM index trap feature is turned off on our system. Looking to use as many health checker checks as possible I'd like to turn this feature on and activate the check. In checking the ibm-main archives there was a thread on this check back in 2007, nothing since.
Any system issues turning the VSAM index trap on? Any vsam performance problems?
