Wow, what a long thread about what I think is a relatively minor issue.
IBM does not provide all that nice and detailed HOLDDATA for it to be
ignored.  Of course, I would have to assume that there may be many sysprogs
out there who use SMP/E in "cookbook" fashion rather than really
understanding what they're using.   The "ACCEPT/RESTORE" commands as a case
in point if I go by past posts having to do with it.

I would also have to assume that "integrity" APARs slip in all the time, but
unnoticed, if they require no action by the user.  I think this one is a
very useful improvement to SMP/E functionality irregardless of the
"integrity" issue IBM is concerned with - what's the big deal?
