On the other hand, I had an integrity APAR rejected back in the 1980s, even though I could demonstrate gaining control in an authorized state by exploiting the exposure. IBM did fix it, but only much later. (Well, not formally REJECTED in the system, but the SE and marketing folks were dispatched to "explain" to me and my manager why they didn't want to take an APAR.)
