Having repeatedly asked my managers about just that (and my feelings about this idea are certainly known here - I have made enemies in the past because of it), I have to *believe* what they tell me. I am not privy to the contract details (nor am I likely to ever be), so even if I were to study the IBM licencing policy, I wouldn't have a clue what we *have* to pay. The technicians here are told that it is so and to merge the plexes. Defiance only goes so far.... And I am already stretching it. :-(
