IMHO there is no practical limit.
BTW: How did you the above? PARM is limited to 100 characters, did you
put empty (0-lcharacter long) continuations?
BTW2: In practice it is very hard to exceed 10-20 lines (with exception
for multiple volume serials), so 100 or 1000 lines limit can be
considered as non-practical one.
