We are having problems with running the CUSTOMPAC dialog to install z/OS V1.11. This was just downloaded and order in April 2010.
IBM states that FASTCOPY from CA-PDSMAN causes issues. Does anyone know of any issues with using FASTCOPY instead of IEBCOPY? Second, does anyone know of a packaging error for IBM for the following? Was this an issue from the beginning and IBM never corrected it? Or is this a new build error for 'SYS1.SIEAHDR.H(IRRSPIMH)' Apparently the package was built incorrectly and IBM is requesting us to do a manual (non-SMPE change) to fix this issue. The problem is not with manufacturing but the packaging of the HBB7760 FMID. They created a duplicate alias in the original rel files: ~ ++UTIN(IRRSPIMX) SYSLIB(SIEASID) ALIAS(IRRSPIM) <----- DISTLIB(AIEASID) RELFILE(4) . ~ ++DATA(IRRSPIMH) SYSLIB(SIEAHDR) ALIAS(IRRSPIM) <----- DISTLIB(AIEAHDR) RELFILE(4) . ~ So there were two members in the same rel file with the same alias - one clobbered the other, check to see if you have 58 members. (59 - 1 missing alias). You can create the alias with the RENAME command.
