If you do recompile, use TEST(NOHOOK,SEPARATE) and you can have all of the benefits of TEST(NOSEPARATE) (formatted dumps, ability to debug with Debug Tool) without the large load modules. The choice should be SEPARATE vs NOSEPARATE, not TEST vs NOTEST!
