What database do you mean? VOLCAT?
In your case you have RMM database, 3494 internal database located on
LM's HDD (Library Manager, a PC inside 3494) and VOLCAT - database in
your SMSplex.
Last, but not least: there is also *reality* - that means all the
databases could be more or less inaccurate.
To synchronize LM with reality you should start inventory process - from
3494 console. Then you should synchronize LM database with volcat and
(automatically) RMM.
In case of VOLCAT see Access Method Services (IDCAMS) commands.
