It is mostly a religious issue, but for some products there are practical
considerations. If you have (for example) something that starts really early
during IPL processing you have a fairly limited set of choices. Now in
fairness, there aren't too many such products, but it always pays to read
the fine print. Every once in a while when the vendor says they need it to
be a particular way they're right and a one size fits all approach will lead
to tears.
