I agree. And it is documented that the purpose of SVC screening is to do 
authorization checking.

Front-ending SVCs is also "provided" (SVCUPDTE) but that does not mean 
that you are able to assume that a particular caller is using an SVC to 
invoke a particular interface. 

The abuse of SVC screening and (more often) SVCUPDTE are frequent causes 
of customer outages. 

Front-ending PCs will never be supported. If you can make a case for an 
exit out of particular PCs, then make it. MIM did. And that is why GRS has 
exits..
