Tim,

That happens to me all the time. I always specify HILITE REXX when I'm editing 
something that contains /* */ comments and/or logical blocks (e.g. DO and END). 
The colors tell you immediately when something is mismatched.

"K S,DEL=N"   on the console so you can see the messages.  :-)
