Our current problem is with the PGT limit with programs generated by our own
COBOL code generator using the NOOPT option. We had previously encountered
the TRQB issue also and have had to make the V4 compiler a pre-requisite
for the latest version of our mainframe product which is unlikely to go down
too well but we currently have no resolution to the PGT limit problem. We
have had other issues over the years whose details I can't remember off
hand.

We develop financial accounting software for the mainframe, unix, linux and
windows platforms. We have NEVER come across these issues on non mainframe
platforms. Try explaining to management the the "little" boxes can deal
with this, no problem but the "big" box fails and has a history of these and
similar issues over the years.
