Maybe they should hire some who knows the MF
at one point they tried to outsource  one of our Z/os MF  guys, found out
the hard way was not so easy

Well, I was going to refer you to the IBM Redbooks page,
   http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/

but I first checked it out and am getting:

So, when it's functioning you need to get the ABCs of Systems Programming
series. It oughta' get you going.
