I'd suggest that you do fix the two above. Then 1.5 minutes won't be an issue. It's a symptom -- NOT the problem. As to size, I'd recommend 2G per and a minimum of 6. I used to work for a large CICS shop, and we were dumping every 20 minutes during the peak.
