Given that another ISV has spoken up, I should do the same.

File-AID MVS has a compatible compare function as well, however it is
not the only function but one of many.

A 'Swiss army' knife of data, if you want.... but of course I am a
little prejudiced

There are a few products that have better compare functionality. 

InSync is excellent , as is Comparex.
