For a single image setup I would suggest you stay with SYSLOG. OPERLOG is really nice if you want a sysplexed SYSLOG that has entries, by time, for all of the sysplexed systems. It's easier than trying to eyeball multiple syslogs. no one at my last employer was in a hurry to set it up so I did in my copious free time <lol>
