Hi Kevin,
option 3 - use HMC for IPL and NIP...nice to be on one screen.
MVS messages on perviosly activated sysplex SMCS screen (usually)
else HMC until SMCS available.
I have removed NIP Consoles....no hardware and that gets rid all those PINned
devices.
and
no money to buy OSA-ICC devices.....why bother.
