If you want to know why hipersorting couldn't be used for this particular run, I need to see the ICE898I message information. But what exactly is the concern here? Did the job using dataspace fail? DFSORT can choose memory object sorting, data space sorting, or hipersorting for the same job at different times depending on what's going on in the system at the time. This doesn't mean that the job isn't working, unless it actually failed.
