We have just brought up all of the members in our production sysplex to zOS
1.6 for zOS 1.3.
When we try to run remote shell (RSH) from the mainframe to a unix host, we
receive the following:
EZA5051E The call to rcmd_af procedure failed:
EDC8114I Address family not supported. rsn = 112B0000
I have looked at the open issues at IBM and insured that the userid I am
running the rsh with has uid(0). I have also bounced TCP and changed
RESTRICTLOWPORTS to UNRESTRICTLOWPORTS in reference to a reported ticket at
IBM.
I can find no reference to address the EDC8114I message.
Nothing is working.
Any help would be appreciated.
