That's correct. There is a clone, but AFAIK The Hessling Editor (THE)
won't run on Virtual Machine Facility/370.

RSCS[1]. You need a CTCA or BSC link to use it.
[1] Can only handle print and punch files, alas. However, you
mentioned a couple of programs that can transoform files
into card images.
