Hello, asking for suggestions.

I have a "distributed" product being installed here that I don't have much
control over.
Today, in a development environment, it looped trying to establish ftp
connections to a z/OS LPAR. z/OS relatively quickly reached: IEA602I ADDRESS
SPACE CREATE FAILED. MAXUSERS WOULD HAVE BEEN EXCEEDED

I am RTFM for a way to limit FTP from running away like this, but I thought I
would ask here also. It occurs to me that this could be used as a DoS attempt.
Before I was notified, others had already IPL'd, the looping entity was still
there and we had lost access via SYSVIEW, EJES (standalone VTAM is really nice,
thanks Ed) or anything else.

I will look at procedural changes also. :)
