If any of the files ends up with no records written to it is it possible, within the SORT statements, to write out a single record with a message? For example "NO RECORDS FOR THIS FILE" when this condition is found? If the TRAILER statement is used to do this in some manner I would not want a trailer record written to the files with data however. Thanks for any insights.
