IIRC ISPF was the early vestiges of SP 1.3 or so in preparation for XA. Mike Loos talked me into taking over the ISPF project at SHARE and I lasted three or four SHAREs(not counting interims) before Company and SHARE reorgs folded my tent. ISPF, or the former SPF did not come with TSO. If you look at the list before ISPF there was SPF. After IBM made it an official product that cost, they split SPF into two different parts ISPF and ISPF/PDF.
