Ah, this brings back memories of SET AUTOCASE, a mod I wrote almost 30 years ago for XEDIT. When AUTOCASE was ON (and CASE U was in effect), a line entered in all lowercase would be uppercased; a line entered with a mixture of upper and lower was left unchanged. If the latter was in error, LOWercase or UPPercase would fix it easily enough.
