There are a number of ways - a lot depends on what info you want. Assuming that you just want to filter a quick list, QuickRef has a very handy DASD screen for immediate - or almost immediate, depending on how big your farm is :) display that you can filter by many different criteria. You can sort the fields in whatever order you like and you can drill down to the VTOC list by putting the cursor on the volser and pressing enter. (No, I am not affiliated with ChicagoSoft, just a long time user.)
