IBM recently announced the availability of HLASM for Linux on zSeries, as PRPQ 5799-TCQ. It is fully compatible with HLASM on the current MVS, CMS, and VSE operating systems, and can generate the ELF object format as well as the traditional OBJ and GOFF formats.
