Does any remember DRMS? or use it. A requesting jobstep puts a filename into a queue, then ends immediately. The master part of DRMS runs periodically to backup all of the data, and vault the tapes.
I am looking for a replacement method of backing up data without elongating the jobstep. What other methods are available?
