Anybody else out there got a 3584 with a 3593-F04 connected to their z/OS system?
For some reason, when I EJECT a 3592 volume, then put it back in, the CBRUXENT exit is not being driven. This means that DFSMS does not know that the tape volume is back in the library. If I put in a new, never before been INSERTed, volume, the CBRUXENT is driven. I also noticed that if I "remove" a 3592 volume via the Web Interface, the volser remains in the 3584's inventory. This may be why it is not (or appears to not be) driving the CBRUXENT exit. So far, I am not favorably impressed with the interface. But I will say that the robot is nice and fast. -- John McKown Senior Systems Programmer UICI Insurance Center Information Technology This message (including any attachments) contains confidential information intended for a specific individual and purpose, and its content is protected by law.
