You forgot about the nucleus.  It is the definition of the SQA, CSA,
Nucleus, and LPA (made up of the PLPA+MLPA+FLPA) that determine the size
of the common area.

Johnny, also note that the common area spans the 16Meg line - there is a
common area below-the-line and another common area above-the-line.  The
nucleus itself straddles the line (some of the nucleus is below and the
rest is above).
