Went to run an ISPF exec. I get an allocation error on file IBMUSER.CPPTEMP1.SCPPWORK I tried to manually allocate the file and I get Duplicate file on volume. So on Data Set List Utility I put in IBMUSER and I don't see the file. But if I look at the VOLSER the file is on, sure enough it shows up. But I can't delete it. I get IDC3012I ENTRY IBMUSER.CPPTEMP1.SCPPWORK NOT FOUND+ IDC0551I ** ENTRY IBMUSER.CPPTEMP1.SCPPWORK NOT DELETED IDC0014I LASTCC=8 IDC3009I ** VSAM CATALOG RETURN CODE IS 8 - REASON CODE IS IGG0CLEG-42
And if I try to Catalog the file it simply returns Data set not cataloged. I'm such and MVS newb I don't know how to get around this problem.
