Hi List, I need to move my OMVS HFS datasets as we are migrating to different disk. How do I go about moving the unimportant ones like root, var, etc, and so on? They are sitting on SMS-managed packs. If I'm the only one on the LPAR, can I simply use DFDSS to copy the datasets to new names, update BPXPRMxx, and re-IPL off the new ones? Is there something that I'm missing or any "gotcha's" with doing this? Or possibly a safer and/or easier way to do this?
