I hate to argue with furniture (and hate even more when it argues back)
but I'm pretty sure there was a SHARE in eithr L.A. or San Francisco that
was around 5000.  I remember it being commented on at the General Session.

Considering the decline in the number of mainframe shops, the decline in SHARE attendance is understandable. And lamentable.

This may be a issue of my grammar, or lack there of. I will try to restate what I was told, just to clear it up a bit.

Of the Share's held during the late 90's the peak attendance was about 3,000. I did not mean to imply that the peak attendance of all Share's ever held was 3,000.
