Are you sure that it's SSL 2.0? We are also using HMC 1.8.2 and I got the "disabled security protocol"-message with FF2. But our HMC uses SSL 3.0 RC4-40-bit and this "low-grade encryption" is disabled by default in FF2. I could enable it with: about:config -> scroll down to "security.ssl3.rsa_rc4_40_md5" -> double-click (=toggle).
