Happy Friday! I think I remember, years ago, seeing a list of TCPIP tasks and what their functions were. I'm talking about the tasks you see listed in response to D OMVS,A=ALL: SYSTCPIP TCPIP 0041 196623 LATCHWAITPID= 0 CMD=EZBTCPIP SYSTCPIP TCPIP 0041 196624 LATCHWAITPID= 0 CMD=EZBTTSSL SYSTCPIP TCPIP 0041 196625 LATCHWAITPID= 0 CMD=EZBTMCTL SYSTCPIP TCPIP 0041 196626 LATCHWAITPID= 0 CMD=EZACFALG SYSTCPIP TCPIP 0041 196627 LATCHWAITPID= 0 CMD=EZASASUB SYSTCPIP TCPIP 0041 196630 LATCHWAITPID= 0 CMD=EZBTTMST SYSTCPIP OSNMPD 004F 196640 LATCHWAITPID= 0 CMD=EZASNMPD
So far, I've googled various task names, web-wide and group ibm-main. I searched these books: Communications Server IP System Administrator's Commands, IP Configuration Guide, IP Configuration Reference, IP Diagnosis Guide, Unix System Services Planning, Unix System Services User's Guide, ABCs of z/OS System Programming Vol 9. Unsuccessfully. Will someone please provide me a reference for these tasks' functions? Cheers,,,Steve ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
