I've always held the same viewpoint.


I remember in the 1980's, they were telling us to get off the mainframe and on 
to C/S, quickly, or we would lose our competitive edge.

In the 1990's, they were pointing out that some companies couldn't compete 
because they probably moved to Client/Server too soon.

When in doubt.
