Yes, and I see now that I was one of the culprits when I
posted
using the web interface. Now I know to edit the
attribution line.

I guess it's karma then that your post with this
information had your e-mail address on Usenet unmunged. I
munged it in the introduction, above. I noticed because
recently I've seen a fair number of unmunged
addresses. (And no, I'm not counting those that post
directly to the newsgroup.)
I've seen Darren's post that he's aware of the
problem, but doesn't yet have an answer. However, I
thought I'd mention that it's worse than usual, lately, and
you all might want to consider some variation on Charles
Mills's suggestion:
- Use a unique e-mail address for this list
- Get your e-mail client to sort everything sent to that
e-mail address that
is NOT from IBM-MAIN into a unique folder
- Delete everything in that folder once a month or so
