You're not alone. We run BTAM and EP-only 37x5's to connect to our trading partners using BSC RJE (or emulators). No matter how often we ask them to switch to IP based solutions, they always have a reason to stick with the status quo.
Speaking of alternative products, I once ran Sterling Commerce's SPC (Software Protocol Converter) product. I believe Sterling Commerce has renamed and ported the product on to Windows (it used to run on OS/2/Token-Ring).
