Braille on drive up ATMs seems silly, until you realize that it is
simply cheaper to make a standard ATM with standard buttons which can be
used in any location, not just "drive up". Just like why there are locks
on the doors of 24 hours, "we never, ever, ever close" convience stores.
It is cheaper to buy a standard door with a lock than special order an
identical door, without a lock. Standardized equals less expensive (in
most cases).

Yes. And it likely will. A judge has ordered the US Treasury to make it
easier for blind people to determine the denomination of paper money
(which is good since there are SOBs who would cheat their own family out
of a penny, given the chance). Many have said that this may result in
the various bill being different sizes. Now, that is going to be a royal
pain.
