What about datasets that have no EOF mark and depend rather on
end-of-extent? Like JES2 SPOOL space? RACF DB? Some forms of BDAM
datasets? The name of the game here is FLEXIBILITY; unfortunately, that
sometimes leads to COMPLEXITY.
