We are still running View 2.0, but I thought that was an enhancement for 11.x - one that I was looking forward to that I like in other products that manage sysout. Are you sure there isn't a command that still lets to do a single "select" for all the output? Other products that split the DDs have that, I would hope CA-VIEW would too.
