And in my home town of Arlington, TX (home of the Rangers and future home of the Cowboys), it is illegal to drive sheep on Main Street. You can drive other animals on Main Street (such as cows) and sheep on other streets, just not sheep on Main Street. There are many such archaic laws still on the books. I remember a book which I think was entitled "That's the Law?" which a lot of them.
