We are z/OS V1R7. I am sharing SYS1.PARMLIB between two LPAR's. One LPAR needs more OMVS parms then the other. I thought I would used the SYSPARM parameter of the LOAD or IEASYMxx member. This would be where I would specify the OMVS statement. When I did the IPL the SYSPARM was ignored. It says the SYSPARM will be ignored if you specify A,P, S, or T IMSI character, which I specify T. If I change to use another IMSI character lets say M then the SYSPARM should be picked up. My only question is that I have specified IMSI character T so I would have a chance to specify CLPA is needed, but I would not have a chance to specify this if I don't specify T. I could put CLPA in IEASYS00, but I may not want to do a CLPA every time I IPL. I don't want to specify a different parmlib concatentation. Any other suggestion? Thank You
