I had numerous issues with the Linux upgrade to our z890 and remote HMC access but the z9 seems to be problem free. On the z890 side, the IBM folks to not like IE V6. They really wanted me to go to V7 but I couldn't. I had the problem where I would select an icon in the work area, it would simply highlight it and ignore me. This problem was related to not iml'ing one of the boxes, (SE's I think, i can ask the CE).
