You're missing the point. As I said - logstream definitions are cumulative, so you could have hundreds of members / jobs that need to be run in order to delete / define them. Even if they were all in a single place, it would be difficult at best to make sure you ran them all or all the correct ones since people tend to save backup members or test members in a PDS. >2. Each application could have their own library where they keep such things. That doesn't mean it isn't production or kept in the proper place. Like I said... it's not only the MVS guys that define logstreams. The CICS guys may keep their definitions in their own library protected from me by RACF (example only).
