Hello Hal,

The device is/was defined as a NIP console.

This is another reason I do NOT code any device as a NIP console.

I seem to remember that I was able to UNPIN the device somehow.
Not sure how I did it, but I did have access to some UNPIN code from EMC 
some years ago.
