Biggest difference I can think of off hand is with IP Printway you can
define a IP based printer that uses LDP, then setup a VTAM LU and/or a
JES destination and print to the printer from batch jobs just by
changing the destination or print from a VTAM application just by point
it to the new VTAM LU name.
If you use just plan LPR, you have to modify the application, or write
something that takes the output from a current application and sends it
to the printer (which is what IP Printway is).
