I will say that it is interesting that when I brought the most recent outage
issue up to my IBM rep, he didn't come right back and say, oh, hey, didn't
you know, that was a planned outage?

seems like he would have known, considering I've been keeping after him on
these web ibmlink issues and I know for a fact that he has been talking to
the SoftwareExcel manager over the past several weeks.

Posters on a Google group called the problems "absurd", but a spokeswoman
for IBM told the Reg it was planned maintenance and publicly announced.
She wasn't sure quite where it was publicly announced though.
Can anyone confirm/deny?
